Most of the decisions till recently were based on expert judgment or rule of thumb. There has been an increasing focus on supporting business decisions based on data. We at DeciDyn believe that the art of Analytics goes far beyond just statistics or mathematics and has to be tightly integrated with business understanding. Strategic Analysis

Strategic analysis is a strong foundation of solving data-driven business problems and it provides powerful insights and even outputs that could either feed into predictive analytic solutions or could be used directly for taking decisions. Some of the examples are mentioned below:

  • Customer Profiling: Customer profiling can be done based on demographics, behaviour or both. This helps in comprehending customers’ preference, customers’ responsiveness to various promotions, channel purchase behaviour, etc. This analysis could be used to design promotional campaigns, loyalty programs, etc.
  • Profitability Analysis: DeciDyn team has extensive experience in developing lifetime value or account level profitability scorecards. These scorecards help in allocation of marketing budgets, loyalty programs, etc. We also have extensive experience in pricing of products to achieve maximum profitability.

Predictive Analytics

At DeciDyn, we use a variety of statistical and data mining techniques to analyze current and historical data to make predictions about future events. The patterns found in historical and transactional data is used to identify risks and opportunities. Here are a few examples that we can solve for you:

  • Scorecard Development: We have expertise in developing marketing and risk scoring models to predict customer's likelihood of responding to an offer, making a payment, etc. We also develop Basel II models using regression and survival analyses.
  • Cross-sell Strategies: The challenge faced by multi-product and multi-channel companies is to offer the right product at the right time to meet the preferences of the customer. We help tailor the marketing strategy for greater profitability by developing models that are based on  customers’ past purchasing history, past response rates by channels, customer's demographic, geographic and other characteristics.
  • Loyalty Programs: With the amount of competing services available, businesses need to focus efforts on maintaining continuous consumer satisfaction. In such a competitive scenario, consumer loyalty needs to be rewarded and customer attrition needs to be minimized. We develop predictive models to proactively determine likelihood of a customer attriting sometime in the near future so that proper actions can be initiated to prevent it.
